These classic varieties complement each other perfectly to give a fine balanced blend.  This elegant wine has a deep ruby red colour with an aroma of lifted spice, blueberries and a hint of sarsaparilla.

 

Palate
The palate is elegant yet powerful, showing upfront blueberry fruits, followed by earthy characters tied together with fine creamy tannins and lovely lingering oak.

 

Serving suggestion

Serve at room temperature with spiced venison with wild mushroom and truffle sauce, with an after-dinner cheese platter, or simply enjoy on its own.
